Kaplan Nursery School

The Kaplan Nursery School of Sutton Place Synagogue is housed in the Sachs Family Educational Center. Our facilities include a large outdoor play deck, an indoor playroom, library and a childrens garden. Kaplan Nursery School is an ISAAGNY member school. We are licensed by the New York City Department of Health. All Head Teachers have completed graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education. Assistant teachers have earned undergraduate degrees or are enrolled in a graduate program. We enroll approximately 65 children each year, from ages 1.11 to 5 years. Mission Statement: Our goal is to create an early learning community where a young childs social and emotional growth and intellectual development can flourish. Our curriculum reflects the developmental level and needs of each age group and values the uniqueness of each child.
