Tolstoguzov JSC RAO Energy System of East (JSC RAO ESE) was founded July 1, 2008 as a result of reorganization of JSC RAO UES of Russia. JSC RAO ESE and its subsidiaries and associates form the joint holding, operating in all regions of the Far East Federal District and follows the majority of the rights and obligations of JSC RAO UES of Russia in relation to the electric-power industry of the Far East. The main activity of JSC RAO Energy System of East is to manage in efficient and quality manner the generating companies in order to meet the requirements for electricity and thermal energy of the Far East Federal District and its cross-border regions.
