International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT) is the only English radio station in Taiwan. Formed in 1979 when the Armed Forces Network Taiwan transferred operations to the local government and the American business community in Taiwan, ICRT serves as the foreign community in Taiwan and forges a cultural link between the Chinese population of Taiwan and the English-speaking residents of the island. ICRTs programming focuses on music, news and entertainment.
