INSTITUTE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS- CBU CHAPTER

MISSION To provide tools and resources, help advocate the internal audit profession to students and educators. As well as develop a pipeline of students to meet the growing demand for internal audit talent. FUNCTIONS The chapter shall singly as well as in cooperation with other organizations carry out such activities that are consistent with article three and in pursuing these objectives, the chapter shall: 1) Organize symposia where experts from commerce, finance, auditing and industry in general give public talks on specific areas of their specialization. 2) Hold in-house symposia in which members present their papers on selected topics of importance 3) Under-take tours to various institutions in internal auditing, risk management, accountancy, commerce and other industry sectors. 4) In conjunction with computer consultancy firms, organize practical training clinics on auditing and business packages on the market. 5) Fully publicize the chapter to all areas of the univ...
