Launched on 28 November 2012, the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) is a UK Centre of Excellence supporting the development of universally high-quality health visiting practice to benefit all children, families and communities. New evidence-based resources and frameworks developed by the iHV help health visitors to respond effectively to the health needs of all children, families and communities; enabling them to achieve their optimum level of health, thereby reducing health inequalities.
