Infrasense is a client-focused consulting firm that specializes in the non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of bridge decks, highway and airfield pavements, tunnels, parking structures, and other transportation facilities. The company was founded in 1987 with support from National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Grants. Since then, Infrasense has provided NDE consulting and testing services using ground penetrating radar (GPR), infrared thermography, seismic, vibrations, impact echo, ultrasonic testing, imaging and image processing.
