Ime Umanah Chambers

The Ime Umanah Chambers is the leading student firm in the Faculty of Law, University of Uyo, created in homage of the cerebral politician, industrialist and philanthropist, Late Dr. Ime Sampson Umanah (1943 - 2015) whose humanitarian disposition and love for legal education began his law college which was later donated to the University of Cross River, marking the beginning of legal education in Akwa Ibom State and taking his position as the father of legal education in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The firm is primarily concerned with the academic, corporate and social welfare of its partners, thereby, grooming them to be balanced and well equipped lawyers for the future.
