ICHA TEA

ICHA TEA is a brand that draws its name from the Chinese name YI CHA JIAN () which means One Tea Space. Its from the phrase , (yi qi yi hui, yi cha yi zuo), which means one time, one meeting, one tea, one seat. At ICHA TEA, we believe in the importance of cherishing each moment and every encounter, which is why we have incorporated this philosophy into our brand name. We want to create a space where people can come together, enjoy a cup of tea, and make meaningful connections with one another, all while savouring the unique taste and aroma of our premium teas. Established in 2016 by Xing Su and Sijian Chen, ICHA TEA was born out of the desire to provide traditional tea/Gongfu tea in Toronto. In 2017, the physical location was launched, making it one of the small businesses in Toronto Chinatown.
