Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County(HIS_OC) (formerly HIS House) has been serving men, women, and children experiencing homelessness for the last 31 years. Our mission is to empower the homeless to regain self-sufficiency. What sets Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County apart is that we provide programs tailored to the needs of the unhoused or housing-insecure populations, families, transitional-aged youth (TAY), college students, and senior citizens, to ensure the effectiveness of our work. -Transitional Program - Stable housing and supportive services for families and adults to empower them to regain self-sufficiency. A total of 54 beds are available in North Orange County. -The transitional aged youth shelter (TAY) - Combining housing, education, and basic life skills training for young men and women 18-24.
