Home Appliance Service was founded in 1962 in Brunswick, OH an appliance service business. The companys first retail location opened in 1972 and sold parts and major appliances. In 1988, the company was purchased by Brian Grayson and moved to Medina, OH as a service only business. In 1992, a new retail location was opened on the square in Lodi, OH and began selling the Magic Chef brand. In 1994, the Amana line was added to the product mix. The company moved its retail location in 1996 to a much larger location just north of the square in Lodi and added more brands to its product mix. In January, 2001, the company joined a national buying group and took on GE and Frigidaire. The companys second location was opened in Brunswick in September, 2001. Quickly growing our of that location, land was purchased and a state-of-the-art retail location was opened in October, 2006.
