Since 1958, and through the early ears, Hike Metal enjoyed modest but steady growth while bing given support form the local fishing industry. The late 1970s and early 80s however brought about the need to redefine our corporate goals and the strategies by which we were to achieve those goals. Therefore, the firms facilities and infra structure were subjected to a finely tuned re-structuring plan. This upgrading has resulted in providing customers today with one of the most modern, well equipped shipyard facilities on the Great Lakes in which they can turn to. One of our greatest assets, however, is our team of highly skilled personnel, some having been with our firm since its conception.
