High-Octane Motorsports e.V. is a registered, non-profit association and at the same time a university group of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen Nuremberg. As Formula Student Team we have been building innovative racing cars every year since our foundation in 2007. All tasks which are necessary to achieve this goal are solved within the club and without any professional help. Our members develop their own concept, design in CAD and manufacture the racing car. Before the races, the vehicle is subjected to various tests by us to ensure safety and performance. The club is made up of students from all faculties of the university, who acquire specialist knowledge independently at work and learn practically about automotive engineering, production technologies and economics.
