The history of Harris Freer P/L started when Geoff Harris and Ross Freer joined forces in 1996, having met through their ownership of other Toyota dealerships. They came together to acquire a little Berwick dealership in 1996. At that time Berwick was barely considered a fringe suburb of Melbourne, almost rural. The dealership was small with numerous local employees, some of whom are still with the dealership and have just clicked over 25 years. In 2007 our current managing director Jonathan Hardwick joined the group, we then welcomed Sam Freer, Ross Freers son, who is now the General Manager of Berwick and Pakenham Toyota. In 2010 the name was changed from Harris Freer Toyota to Berwick Toyota, that same year Pakenham Toyota was built. This was the first dealership built out in the new industrial area, which now is a thriving dealership hub.
