HCDA Engineering, Inc. (formerly Howard C. Dutzi & Associates, Inc.) was founded in November of 1961. Since its inception the firm has been engaged as structural engineering consultants to many architectural firms and other clients for numerous building projects of various types and sizes. Our present staff of thirteen persons consists of eight engineers, four Revit modelers, and one office manager. Working to satisfy the needs of our clients, we have designed structures using virtually every type of system and material including masonry, timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, precast and post-tensioned prestressed concrete. We have designed foundations of all types including spread footings, driven piles, and drilled piers. Our experience includes the design of new buildings as well as extensive experience in remodeling and renovation of existing buildings.
