The name HAUSMAN is inspired by the famous Baron Georges-Eugene Haussmann, Paris visionary Prefect commissioned by Emperor Napoleon III to carry out a massive urban renewal of the city in the 19th century. Led by a groundbreaking approach to city planning that integrated people, infrastructure and everyday life, Haussmanns renovation of Paris still has a long-lasting impact on the citys functionality and efficiency to this day. This is what inspired the creation of HAUSMAN in 2018: to replicate this enduring impact in a given city, through its buildings, factories, facilities and assets.
