In October 2013, MacGregor acquired Hatlapa to strengthen its position in the merchant shipping segment with a product portfolio that contained a wide range of deck machinery. Included in the Hatlapa acquisition was Triplex-branded equipment, which also became part of MacGregors portfolio. HATLAPA has been manufacturing marine equipment for the merchant shipping industry for over 90 years and is also well known in the offshore industry.
