Harithkram (Environment Society, SBSC)

Harithkram, the Environment Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was inaugurated by the eminent Environmentalist and Writer Padma Shri Sunita Narain on September 7, 2012. Its mission is to create Environmental Awareness and promote green and sustainable activities in and around the college. It develops and channelizes the creative ideas of the young and potential environmentalists towards a greener world via team building. The society focuses primarily on sensitizing the students on environmental issues. Our aim is that an increasing number of students showcase deep interest towards the environment and make Harithkram not just any other society, but a forum for constructive discussions and debates on any and every green cause.
