The continued support of Head teachers in all schools has meant that we now have 89% of all young people taking part in 2 hours curriculum based PE every week with 50% of all pupils taking part in an additional hour each week. The hard work and commitment of the Primary Link Teachers (PLTs) and School Sport Co-ordinators (SSCOs) has meant that nearly all of the programmes and initiatives introduced have been a success and the profile of school sport has never been greater.
