Gul Ahmed Energy Group

Gul Ahmed Energy Group is a leading power generation group in Pakistan, founded in 1994 by (Late) Mr. Iqbal Alimohamed. The group initially started with a thermal power plant in Karachi and has since expanded its project portfolio to include wind, solar, and power solutions. The group currently has a total power generation capacity of 236 Megawatts (MW). The group aims to provide clean energy to the Government of Pakistan and has gained global interest and partnerships with foreign investors for its projects, thereby promoting Pakistan on international platforms. Gul Ahmed Energy Limited operates a 136.17 MW thermal power plant in Karachi. The plant, established in 1994, operates on a Build Own and Operate (BOO) basis.
