Founder Matthew Egos family tradition spans back to the 1900s where their skills were honed as blacksmiths. Adapting into working with finer metals, father Simon Ego took to the jewelers workbench in 1970 where he trained as master jeweler. Creatively curious at a young age, Matthew spent countless days in the shop as a child, while beautiful works of art were being created. It was evident that his future would follow the traditions of creating beautiful works of art, from raw metals. After honing his skills in on the bench and in design.
