Greenwich & Bexley Credit Union

Greenwich & Bexley Credit Union is a local not for profit financial co-operative, owned by our members and founded on principles of mutual co-operation and trust. Members pool their savings to create a pot of money from which we make affordable loans. Any surplus generated is ploughed back into the business or returned to members as a dividend on savings. The credit union was launched in 1998. Since then we have supported 16,000 local residents and employees and loaned more than 44 million. We currently look after more than 13m of local savings We welcome applications from anyone who lives, works or studies in the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley, or in any DA postcode. Organisations providing faith, charitable, public, housing, social or welfare services based in the area are welcome to apply for corporate membership.
