Goethe-Institut Ukraine

The Goethe-Institut is the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany with a global reach. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural cooperation. We convey a comprehensive image of Germany by providing information about its cultural, social and political life. Our cultural and educational programmes encourage intercultural dialogue and promote social and economic change. They strengthen the development of structures in civil society and foster worldwide mobility. The Goethe-Institut is partner in large-scale EU-funded projects and has profound experience in creating platforms and networks in culture, education and civil society. We are an active member of EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) and work with public institutions, independent structures and civil society.
