Girl Up BHU

In many parts of the world, girls are at a unique disadvantage and are more likely to confront physical, social and political barriers. A UN Foundation initiative, the Girl Up Campaign chain promotes gender equality and empowers women all across the globe. Girl Up is dedicated to securing equal opportunities for underprivileged adolescent girls. This community is a space for supporters and leaders of the gender equality movement to learn, connect, and take action. Girl Ups aim is to provide students with service opportunities, affiliation with the United Nations and its programs, and exposure to the prominent issues faced by adolescent girls today. Girl Up BHU is an initiative by young girls to serve women and uplift their stature to where they belong. Our mission is to educate women to defend, advocate and create a safe place for them to begin their professional journey.
