Garuda has a mission. It is to create a platform through which stories that reflect the narrative and perspective that tells the story of Indian civilization are told. For decades, or even centuries weve been unable to talk about and expand our own story. The narrative has always been told to us that our stories arent politically accurate. We have been under the eyes of an outsider, or that of our colonizers in the way we talk about ourselves. Weve been told that our language and our culture have been deemed Backward and must be eliminated to make Progress. These myths are untrue. The world requires Indic wisdom as well as its structure and philosophy of pluralism its mind-body sciences and the body. Its knowledge of liberation and its darshan to peace and happiness for everyone and across all realms more than ever. To share this wisdom, we must liberate our minds, discover our own voices and eyes and write our own stories rather than rehash the theories forced upon us by colonizer...
