Galilee is Greeces first hospice, existing to provide and promote high quality and compassionate palliative care. Our mission is to relieve our patients pain, embrace their difficulties, share their burden and support them in every way possible. Created under the auspices of the Diocese of Mesogaias and Lavreotiki, Galilee is staffed by a specialized team of health professionals, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, priests and 100+ trained volunteers. The team offers palliative care services free of charge to patients who live in the area of Mesogeia and Lavreotiki
