Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed is a Maine conservation and education non-profit. Founded in 2001 by a group of local residents who were concerned about declining water quality in their lakes. A 217 square mile drainage basin in central Maine, the Cobbossee Watershed contains more than 15,000 households and attracts thousands of tourists each year
