MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to provide a rest stop for those individuals who tirelessly accompany their loved ones to & from medical facilities for extensive cancer treatment. By offering a provisional lodging option, we hope to bring some solace to these devoted companions, ease the load of care giving, and help restore the mind, body, and spirit for the journey ahead. Friday Harbour is a local Houston based, not-for-profit organization focused on providing support for caregivers of family members or friends receiving medical treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or Texas Childrens Hospital Cancer Center. PURPOSE Every day, we encounter someone who is battling cancer. Regardless of whether that person is directly related to us or not, we are struck by the enormity of this illness.
