Weve always been about community. First State Bank has a long history of serving, reaching out, and connecting in the Florida Keys. We started out in 1955, with a single Key West branch and a handful of employees. As the Keys community grew, so did the Bank, steadily adding more services and branches. Weve grown and changed in a lot of good ways. But our core values remain the same were a proud, locally owned institution operated for the benefit of the people of Monroe County. Today, over 65 years later, First State Bank continues to thrive and expand our line-up of products, services, and delivery systems. We boast 11 offices from Key West to Key Largo, more than any other financial institution in Monroe County.
