Domaine de Boisbuchet

Domaine de Boisbuchet is a French country estate where Alexander von Vegesack, co-founder and director of the Vitra Design Museum from 1988 to 2011, established a non-profit center for design education. Since 20 years we are known for our workshops on design and related disciplines conducted by internationally acclaimed experts. We also organize exclusive design seminars as well as international competitions tailored for companies from various fileds. We did these for Faurecia, Amorim, Bosch, Hermes, Kvadrat, Vitra, Legrand, and Corning, amongst others. In the course of past years our workshops originated several innovative buildings, which now enrich the splendid setting of the Domaine bamboo-structures by Simon Velez, Markus Heinsdorff and Anna Heringer, a paper pavilion by Shigeru Ban, tensile cupolas by Jorg Schlaich and wood constructions by Bruckner&Bruckner.
