Daegu International School

Daegu International School (DIS) is a fully licensed and accredited international school in Daegu, South Korea. DIS is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). DIS is home to 320 students in grades K-12 and has a full-boarding program. As a partner school with Lee Academy in Lee, Maine, USA, DIS offers an American education by using the U.S. curriculum (Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards). DIS also utilizes the College Boards Advanced Placement curriculum. DIS proudly offers a wide variety of after school activities and athletics. DIS competes in basketball, cross country, volleyball, and futsal against other international schools in the Southern Korean Activities Conference.
