MISSION STATEMENT- To nurture health, dignity and independent living among people who need meals delivered to their homes. WHO WE ARE, WHOM WE SERVE Corning Meals on Wheels Inc. is a nonprofit food service program that has been serving the home-bound, elderly and frail of the Greater Corning-Painted Post area since 1966. We supply 2/3 of the daily adult nutritional requirements to our clients Monday through Friday between @11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We can also make arrangements for drop-off of weekend meals. While most of our clients receive meals on a long term basis, many CMoW participants are short-termers who have been just released from the hospital and are recuperating from surgery , injury, or illness, needing only a week or two to get back on their feet. CMoW is for anyone who cannot procure nor prepare proper meals for themselves, nor have others within the household to do so for them.
