Cornell University Emergency Medical Service strives to provide professional, efficient, and effective first-response basic life support care to the Ithaca campus and surrounding areas. Serving Cornell students, faculty, staff, visitors, and their families, CUEMS responds to all 911 calls for medical assistance twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week during the academic year. CUEMS provides extensive, weekly training to all squad members consisting of New York State certified emergency medical technicians.
