Connecticut Coastal OB/Gyn

In 1958, Dr. Malcolm Brochin, a Yale-trained Obstetrician/Gynecologist, opened a practice in New Haven County. He hired a partner, then another, and a third. This was the beginning of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility Group: a thriving practice that has cared for hundreds of women in the community. In 1975, we became the first private practice both at Yale and in the state of Connecticut to add Certified Nurse-Midwives; thus we became a complete package. Over the subsequent decades, we continued to evolve along with the changing science and landscape of OB/Gyn. Because of scientific advancements, most infertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination and in vitro fertilization are now reserved for highly specialized clinicsand we are delighted when couples return to us for prenatal care and childbirth! While we still evaluate, diagnose, and treat some of the more routine infertility issues, it is not the main focus of who we are as a practice. As weve evolved as a prac...
