Concordis International

Concordis International is a peacebuilding charity. We work hand in hand with communities, helping them find workable solutions that address the root causes of conflict and contribute to lasting peace and economic development. We are committed to finding sustainable solutions that benefit all those who live where conflict is fought and felt: women and youth, as well as men; local administrative authorities, community leaders and civil society; those who choose to take up arms and those who dont. We have programmes in the Central African Republic, Darfur, and the contested territory of Abyei. At its inception, the organization (as NPI) established confidential dialogue that contributed to the peaceful ending of South African apartheid, and subsequently in Rwanda, developing consensus among senior Tutsis and Hutus on agricultural recovery and post-conflict justice and reconciliation.
