Circle Urban Ministries

A well-respected non-profit community development organization that has been combating poverty and helping support families for nearly 40 years. In the underserved and under-resourced neighborhood of Austin on Chicagos West side, Circle Urban has provided a continuum of direct services and partnerships that meet immediate needs, broaden horizons and help residents become self-sufficient. As a trusted community resource, Circle Urban, along with its partner organizations, reaches hundreds of families each year through a broad landscape of community services, all in a strongly faith-based environment. Direct services by Circle Urban staff include Circle4Success (four year-round youth development programs) to serve kindergarten through high school youth. The youth programs are Kings Kids After School and Summer Enrichment (K-6th), LIFT Arts Enrichment (K-8th), 1-to-1 Mentoring (4th-12th), and College Readiness (7th-12th).
