The recipe for Ciceros Pizza originated in Niagara Falls, New York. In 1968, Nunzio Cicero purchased the business that was to become Ciceros Pizza. Many times Nunzio said that moving to Cupertino from Niagara Falls was the best move I ever made. In 1974, Nunzios son-in-law Bob LaVerdi joined Ciceros Pizza. Beginning in 1978, Nunzios wifes grandson, Rik Jones, worked at Ciceros Pizza while attending college. Business grew as word continued to spread of the great pizza being served at Ciceros. Ciceros Pizza grew up with the Santa Clara Valley as it transitioned from an agricultural area to Silicon Valley.
