Children First works with families through the courts and in the community to ensure safe, stable, nurturing living environments for children. We operate several programs: Athens-Oconee CASA - provides supervised, trained volunteers to act as legal advocates for abused and neglected children. SafeCare provides evidence-based, in home parenting education for families affected by or at risk of abuse or neglect. SPARC - the Supportive Parenting Access Resource Center works with non-custodial parents to build bridges to coparenting and enhance their relationship with their children
