The business was first established as a small garage in Newcastle Emlyn by Tom Lloyd in 1928. The garage was then purchased by Derek Davies and his son, Kevin Davies in 1983 following their success in the local haulage industry. From there, the family took Cawdor to new heights, becoming a top 300 business in Wales time and time again. The company now employs over a hundred people and offers class-leading services such as quality used sales, new car sales, commercial sales, servicing, accident repair, genuine part sales and Motability sales. Cawdor operates Vauxhall dealerships in Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthen, Llanelli and Aberystwyth, whilst also operating a Ford dealership in Cardigan.
