Catawba Lands Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust that works to save land in the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina. We preserve a healthy, natural environment for future generations by protecting clean water, wildlife habitat, local farms and connections to nature. The Conservancy manages the Carolina Thread Trail, a growing 15-county network of trails, greenways and blueways (river trails) that will connect more than 2.3 million people in North and South Carolina.
