Carolina Raptor Center

Carolina Raptor Center is dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey. Our 3/4 mile Raptor Trail is home to over 25 species of birds and is visited by 40,000 people a year. Our environmental education programs reach over 25,000 students a year on site and in their classrooms. The Jim Arthur Raptor Medical Center treats 1.000 birds a year, more than any other raptor center in the country. Almost 70 percent of the injured birds that are admitted are released back into the wild after treatment
