Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Allied Health Sciences, (CIPT & AHS), Uluberia, the first private self-financed, pharmacy institute in the state of West Bengal was established in the year of 2002. Incidentally, it is second oldest pharmacy institute after the Dept. of Pharmaceutical Technology, J.U. Kolkata. The institute is located on the Howrah Mumbai Highway (NH6) about 34 Km from the city of Kolkata and well connected with road and rail.
