About Us

BTC Embedded Systems AG was founded in Oldenburg in 1999 under the name OSC Embedded Systems. We started with an ambitious goal: To take complex and powerful mathematical verification and test methods out of their academic hiding place, and make them available for real-life model-based software development projects. We still feel dedicated to this goal and with roughly 200 employees, we proudly look back on almost 20 years of technological market leadership in areas like formal verification, model checking and automatic test generation. Partnerships with leading research institutes such as the University of Oxford or OFFIS support this objective and contribute to a continuous innovation process. BTC Embedded Systems also regularly contributes to European research projects like MBAT or ASSUME.
