Brain Injury Alliance of Washington

The Brain Injury Alliance of Washington (BIAWA) is a small nonprofit organization that has exhibited the power to do great things. BIAWA was originally founded in 1982 as the Washington State Head Injury Foundation by family members united by a determination to create a system of support for all Washingtonians whose lives are affected by Brain Injury. Today, a cadre of volunteers, board members and staff work collaboratively to carry out the organizations mission: to increase public awareness, support and hope for those affected by Brain Injury through education, assistance and advocacy. BIAWA is proud to serve the state of Washington through three main programs: The Washington Brain Injury Resource Center, Brain Health and Wellness Program, and Brain Injury Peer Navigation.
