Bodega Las Virtudes

Bodega Las Virtudes was founded in 1961 in Villena, a town with which we have a very special bond and which forms part of our reason for being. We were born as a response to the need for small wineries and local producers to join forces in a historic land with a centuries-old winemaking tradition and a crossroads between the Mediterranean and the plateau. Our vineyards are under the Alicante D.O., one of the oldest in Spain. The Monastrell variety, in our Alto Vinalopo region, is the autochthonous and most characteristic grape of our wines. Thanks to the soil, the climatic conditions and the altitude, our Monastrell differs from those grown in other areas due to its greater freshness and versatility, giving it that much-appreciated Mediterranean touch.
