Boca Raton Synagogue

In 1991 Rabbi Kenneth Brander was brought down from New York to serve as the Rabbi of the synagogue. During his 14 year tenure, the synagogue has grown to more than 600 families. Rabbi Brander was instrumental in creating not just a vibrant synagogue, but he was the key figure in creating a Mikvah, Yeshiva High School, starting a community Kollel and addressing kashrut issues by serving as head of the ORB. His work with other institutions, not just in Boca Raton, but throughout the Tri-County area was critical in establishing The Boca Raton Synagogue as an important, integrated Orthodox community. On September 1, 2005, we were very fortunate to have Rabbi Efrem Goldberg agree to assume the position of our Marah DAtrah. As Rabbi Goldberg was the associate Rabbi of the Synagogue for the last 3 years of Rabbi Branders tenure, he assumed the role without missing a beat.
