Every company has a story. How it got its start, the event that led to its rise, and the people that have made it all possible. Some are interesting, some are unique, and if we are being honest, some are utterly unremarkable. Most often, these stories are told from the perspective of looking back. The Blue Harbor story is actually best told looking forward. We havent had our big moments just yet. Sure, we have a chapter on our origin. In fact, it goes something like this: in 2012 Fortress Investment Group purchased eight senior living communities and a management company. We named the management company Blue Harbor and set out to grow a portfolio of outstanding senior housing communities. We found some great people to join our spunky little upstart and through acquisitions expanded to more than 20 communities in 13 states. However, that is just the beginning.
