The journey began, few decades ago in the early 80s by Sri Ramabtarji Berlia. He independently founded the firm to explore tea trading business. Simultaneously, also started tea warehousing. To assist him, his eldest son Sri. Basant Berlia was the 1st. to join the board ,followed by his other two sons, Mr Arun & Narendra Berlia , respectively. In 1995, we started export business from Kolkata, since then are exporting to Germany in Europe, Russia, Kazak, Eurasia & Dubai in Mid-East. From the beginning of the new millennium, i.e. 2000 onwards we kept on acquiring tea estates and establishing tea processing units. These moves, strengthened our position further in intigreting tea business. With pleasure we announce the 3rd generation from the family , Mr. Dhruv Berlia, has joined as a Director, to lead the marketing team of Berlia Fresh Foods.
