Being Volunteer (BV) was conceptualized in the year 2014 by Kailas Narawade and a set of working professionals who were already working in the field of volunteer engagement in the education sector. But we found some gaps in volunteerism. There was no sustainability in it along with lack of capacity building. We came across a lot of people who wanted to volunteer not only in the field of education but varied areas of social work.
