BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC)

BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre [BAETC] was established in 2004 and is fully owned and operated by Bahrain Airport Services [BAS]. It is the first such organization in the region, and the second in the world, to receive an EASA Part-147 Training Organization Approval outside the European Union. It provides basic aircraft engineering training, specialized aircraft type-rating courses, as well as ground operations training. BAETC was also accredited in 2012 by EDEXCEL to award the UK Higher National Diploma (HND) in Aeronautical Engineering. The Centre is justifiably proud of its heritage, and upholds the BAS tradition and successful history of providing services to the worlds airlines.
