Backcountry Squatters

Since 2015, Backcountry Squatters has increased participation, representation, and leadership of college-aged women and non-binary folks in the outdoor community and industry. Backcountry Squatters accomplishes this by creating communities and opportunities for women and non-binary folks to develop their outdoor leadership, professional, and technical skills, as well as develop life-long relationships that empower them to accomplish their personal and professional goals. Currently, Backcountry Squatters has 14 Chapters serving over 500 members across the country.
